All Lotus paddlers, friends and family are invited to join in the fun at the Lotus Bowling Night Social!
All proceeds will go towards supporting our dragon boat program for the upcoming season.

Mar 8 - Paddling Season Begins

An earlier start to Daylight Savings Time means an earlier start to paddling season! Saturday, March 8 is the official first day of the racing season for all Lotus dragon boat and outrigger paddlers. There will be a club social and paddling information session at 11:00 am. Meet the coaches and other paddlers, and find out about this year’s paddling programs, schedule and races.

2008 IVF World Sprints

The 2008 World Sprint Championships will be held August 1st to 9th in Sacramento, California. This is your chance to represent Canada!
Time trials will be held in Penticton on May 11, 2008. 500 meters in an OC1 - top 12 time trials make Canada I or Canada II teams. 6 age categories for men and women - over 450 spots for Team Canada. All participants must register on-line at the CORA Sprint Registration site. Early registration closes January 1, 2008.

AGM - Oct 27, 2007

This year’s Lotus Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday, October 27 at 11:00 am at the Lotus Sports Club.
All Lotus members are encouraged to attend this very important meeting. This is your chance to give feedback on this year’s paddling programs and to thank those who contributed so much time to the club, to hear about plans for next year, and to elect your 2008 Board of Directors.

Daylight Saving Time (DST) in most of B.C. will begin on the first Sunday in March – March 9, 2008.
